Hello! I'm Neil. Currently, I am building Mitra Biotechnologies, where we are developing nanomaterial-integrated biosensors to create abundant diagnostics. I am also in my Third Year in Biomedical Engineering at The University of British Columbia Vancouver as a full-ride Presidential Scholar.
I have had the fortunate opportunity to be a Member of the Masason Foundation, a Z Fellow, a 50 Years 5050 Fellow, and a Global Teen Leader.
I previously worked at the Dr. Paul S. Weiss Laboratory at UCLA, The Netherlands Organization for Applied Scientific Research (TNO), the Dr. Robert Rohling Laboratory at UBC, and Nokia.
I believe that Human Biology is the final frontier. In order to build a future for humanity, we must apply every cornerstone of knowledge and push the boundaries to build better diagnostics, devices, and systems that enable our understanding to accelerate human health and longevity. My passions lie heavily and deeply within Applied Physics and Biomedical Engineering to build medical devices and therapeutics. Some broad topics that I am interested in include: Computational Physics and Chemistry, Quantum Mechanics, Information Theory, Probabilistic Modelling of Biological Systems, and Atomically-precise Manufacturing.
I enjoy reading philosophical literature, painting abstract art, and hiking.
